Just out of curiousity--do you deal much with the issue of military recruiters in U.K, Australia, Thailand, or wherever you're from? In the U.S. it regularly makes headlines.

Not really. There are occasional ads on TV, but I've never heard of any really aggressive recruitment like I hear about in the US.

Oops sorry, that was me.

I don't think we get recruiters outside school gates, although I'm sure they are allowed to give presentations in school. At one local college the Army sponsors students, which makes me think that maybe we need to set up something like Logan's Centurian's Purse initiative might be also needed here.

generally people avoid things that make them nauseous. But you keep coming back. It's like ... a customer who keeps coming back to a restaurant and eating the special, but loudly complaining that the food makes them nauseous. So ... why not pick a different restaurant? I can't prevent you from coming to the restaurant, but I can prevent you from complaining so rudely.
