The Zen Candidate
In case you haven't seen this, or heard of him, here's presidential candidate Mike Gravel. It's an official campaign video. I found it made me peaceful for the first while, and then astoundingly tense. I don't think any of the other candidates could pull this off. What would it be like to have this guy for president of the U.S.?

Wow, that was incredibly disturbing! I skipped the initial calm and went right on to feeling stressed out..why is he staring at me? And what was with the rock? Was he "giving it back to nature" or something?

If you poke around on youtube, you can find an interview with Gravel in which he talks about the why behind the ad.
I rather like it enormously. But I guess a lot of people found it really disturbing.
