Ban American movies!
Why can't Bush and co. use their extraordinary new super executive powers to do something really useful like this here in america?

Well, I could be wrong about this but I think maybe possably it could have to do with the little fact that in america we believe in a little thing called freedom of speech and if anyone in power tried to do something as drastic as actually banning movies it might cause another uproar similar to the Boston Tea Party another time we thought our rights were being infringed on?
Kat,
yeah. I used to think that sort of thing too. I used to think habeus corpus was safe. I used to think it was constitutionally illegal to wiretap U.S. citizens without a warrant. I used to think America thought torture was just a bad idea.
Ah well ...
Americans are sheep. There will be no boston tea party redux in this country. We've pretty much demonstrated that we're perfectly ok with having our freedoms undone by the president and his cronies whenever they feel the urge.
