My beautiful wife and wonderful children have left me
for seven weeks so that Megan can attend her sister Rachel's wedding and they can all hang out in sunny Port Macquarie, Australia with Megan's lovely family over Christmas (and maybe go swimming on Christmas afternoon at lovely lighthouse beach, where Megan and I were wed in 2000. It's in the distance in the photo). If you pray, please pray that all our relationships will be sustained and strengthened during this time, and that I will use the time here alone wisely and productively. Thankyou

hey benzon, we're thinking of you big time right now. hope you do OK over the next 7 weeks, I know how hard it is being alone. just go for a bikeride :)
we're probably coming to the US in the summer 07 :)
i seem to always stay up really late when tom is away - he will be meeting up with megs and the girls in about 6 hours at sydney airport - i have no reason to stay up but i find it impossible just to go to bed as normal
I'll be in Port Macquarie myself in early January. Maybe I'll get a chance to say 'hi' (though I realise it's a decent-sized town). I pray that this period will be both a chance to gain fresh visions and will renew your love.

steph--yes, school meant I couldn't go with them the whole time, and a distinct shortage of the needed $3000 meant I couldn't fly over to be with them between quarters, on the christmas break.--their tickets were *way* cheaper cause they aren't flying near the holidays. can you believe 3K?
