Marriage

Have increasingly come to realize over the last week or so that being married to Megan mega rocks, and ... being single, back in the day, pretty much sucked. One of the worst things about being single, which I never realized when I was single, is that variable length time period between climbing into bed with the lights out intending to fall asleep and actually falling asleep. When one is single, one is somehow utterly and enormously alone during that time period.

It still takes me like an hour to get to sleep and David is snoring as soon as he lays down. Pisses me right off! So your sentiment is very sweet, but I still feel alone next to his snoring ass. :)

..."his snoring ass", unfortunately, leads my incredibly perverted mind to images both hilarious and disturbing.

...that's the thing, though. It's not really about sex. It's just, even if Megan is asleep, and I'm still trying to go to sleep--just her physical presence, a breathing human being over there--someone I can reach over to touch just to reassure myself that the world isn't quite the cruel horrible cold dark lonely place which so much evidence seems to point to...

Love the picture. But I've gushed about the Red Tree before.

I love you darling - and I miss you ever so much my Bens! Bedtime was vexing tonight - I had to do the supernanny thing for an hour to get our dearlings to sleep. Seren and I went together to yoga tonight. I can't wait to go to sleep curled up in your arms of love, my darling one, which is where I belong.
Yours ever,
Megs
